Founded by a Registered Nurse
Luma First Aid was founded by a Registered Nurse with a genuine passion for education and empowering others. With experience spanning acute adult care, paediatrics, and community health settings, our founder saw a gap — too many first aid courses felt disconnected from reality.
The vision for Luma was simple: create training that people actually remember. Training that goes beyond ticking a compliance box and instead leaves participants feeling genuinely confident and capable.
Every course draws on real clinical experience. We explain the why behind every action, not just the what. This deeper understanding is what transforms a nervous bystander into someone who can step forward and help.
The name Luma reflects our approach — Learn, Understand, Monitor, Act. It's a framework for how we teach and how we want our participants to think when it matters most.
